Community-based Apartment Living

My Limitless Journeys provides a structured and community-based transitional living environment for extended care participants. Our lovely homes are conveniently located just a mile away from Empower Recovery Center’s Extended Care Transitional Living Center in Los Angeles, California. Situated close to the historic downtown Toluca Lake, our transitional living apartments offer easy access to public transportation, local businesses, shopping, and schools.

Experience our exceptional amenities, including semi-private bedrooms and bathrooms, shared living areas, refreshing swimming pools, fully stocked kitchens, and dedicated washer/dryer for laundry. Our apartments exclusively cater to young adults and are staffed with awake support personnel available 24/7, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

To participate in the program, you must agree to manage your behavior, keep your apartment clean and organized, follow the curfew and program guidelines. The program gradually allows you to have more freedom as you progress.

Phase One – The PHP participants are living together with 24/7 staff support. Like in most college living situations, participants have roommates and are sharing responsibilities such as cooking and cleaning.

Phase Two – IOP participants have more independence as they live together with less staff support and supervision. They can access the community, use phones and media, with some restrictions in place.

Phase Three – After their outpatient program, participants will live in the Independent Living Services (ILS) program and stay in My Limitless Journeys Townhome.

Community Service

Participants at My Limitless Journey build their work ethic and job skills through volunteering at local businesses during Phase I and Phase II. As they progress into Phase III, participants have the opportunity to secure part-time employment or continue volunteering alongside their attendance in classes and active participation in the program. This multi-phase approach ensures a steady progression towards gainful employment and personal growth.

Fitness

Participants at My Limitless Journeys are required to attend fitness sessions at least four times a week, for two hours each day. We provide well-equipped fitness centers, complete with weights and cardiovascular machines, within the apartment complexes. Participants are encouraged to make the most of their leisure hours by engaging in fitness activities.
